Christmas At Our House - Topeka, Kansas Portrait Photographer
Christmas 2015 was amazing. All three of our babies are healthy and happy and I couldn't have asked for more. For those of you who don't know, our middle child, spent a month sick with pneumonia. He stayed a total of 2.5 weeks at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. It was quite the ordeal but everybody is home and doing well now.
We spent Christmas Eve preparing for Santa by baking him homemade cookies.
and maybe a little dancing...
Have you heard of a DITL session (day in the life)? It's where you hire a photographer to come in and be a fly on the wall. We would plan a couple little activities, like baking cookies, blowing bubbles, bedtime, etc. Then I would come in and photograph you and your family doing these things. No posed shots (or limited to 1 or 2), just everyone interacting and having fun. The best part, everybody will be in the pictures. No one in your family will be taking the pictures. I know a lot of moms, including myself, can relate. You may have lots of pictures of your kids but how many pictures of yourself? Probably not very many. Anyway, if you are interested in this type of session, message me!
A few days before Christmas, the kids donated a big box of toys. So, then we had plenty of room for all the new stuff they received. Then, a few days after Christmas, we went back thru the old toys again and got rid of even more stuff.
We also celebrated my birthday on the 26th, my son's 1st birthday on the 27th and we will be celebrating my husband's birthday on the 30th!
