What to expect

From the initial inquiry to downloading your gallery, here is what to expect when working with me!

You sent me an email or message, asking for more session info, now what?

Well, I will email you back, we will discuss your options and hopefully you will decide to book me for your session/wedding!

I will then put together your contract, which is done digitally, no need for printing or mailing it. I will send it to you, you will sign it and then I will send you the invoice for your session retainer!

Once that is paid, I will send you a session prep guide. This goes over what to expect, what outfits to wear and what products are available to order, if you choose to order products through me!

A few weeks before your session your session, I will give you the exact address to your session. No worries, before booking, we will discuss approximately where the session will take place, so you can prep for that.

One week before your session, I will send you the final invoice for your session, which is due to be paid, 24 hours before your session.

48 hours before your session, I will send you an email/message/text to remind you about your upcoming session. It will include the date, time and location.

Then we will meet for your session, make some beautiful photography magic, have an amazing time chatting and we will create memories!

A few days after your session, I will post a few images to social media, unless for whatever reason, we agree not to share them publicly!

For the next 2 weeks, I will be working on your gallery and will give them their final finishing touches!

I will then deliver your images via an online gallery. You will download your images directly from there (on to a computer) and you will hopefully put them not only on your computer but a hard drive and/or online for additional storage. While I do keep images on my hard drive for a while, I do not keep them forever and ultimately, it is up to you, to keep those images safe! Your images are only available in the gallery for 30 days, so please get them downloaded quickly!

From that online gallery, you can order products from me. I resize and sharpen, each and every image, to make it perfect for whatever size you want to print. This service is only available when printing thru me and the professional lab that I partnered with.

Once you have received your gallery and products(if you ordered any) that’s the end of that project!

I love working with repeat clients. It makes my heart happy getting to see each of my client’s go thru life. So when you decide to book another session, I truly hope to get to work with you again!

What to wear for your portrait session

The most important rule to follow is to make sure that you are comfortable in whatever it is that you choose to wear. There is nothing worse then having to constantly tug at and adjust your outfit during your session!

Try and get your clothes in advance. That way you have time to exchange it for something else, if it doesn’t fit well or you change your mind about it.

DO NOT WEAR LOGOS..

DO NOT WEAR NEON COLORED CLOTHES..

I LOVE neutrals but I also LOVE color as well. You can not go wrong with either.

Outfits are an important part of your session. They have a huge impact on how the photos will look. Think about images that you have seen and have been drawn to. What style of clothing are they wearing? What colors are they wearing?

I have Pinterest boards full of ideas for sessions, with a variety of style options. Before you buy or order, send me pictures of what you are interested in and I will give you my opinion!

I can send you links to all of the stores that I like to get outfits from as well.
