Four Generations

I waited until it was almost too late to get pictures of me and my grandparents.

I recently had two grandpas pass and it broke my heart to know that I don't have any pictures with them or any of my other grandparents. Not only that but I don't have pictures of my children with them either. I knew that I had to do something about this.

My grandma, my mom, my daughter and I went to His & Her Salon in Topeka, Kansas and we had our hair washed and styled and a few of us had our makeup applied.

We then drove back to Valley Falls to my studio and with the help of my sister, we were able to get a four generation shoot.

I couldn't be happier to see these images. I think the only thing that will make me happier is to see these beautiful images printed.

ALSO!! I am adding women's portraiture to my packages. Send me an email if you are interested in having beautiful images of you made.

Alex and Allison's Emma Creek Barn Wedding

When Allison contacted me and told me about how her parents owned a small business and that she wanted to hire small business owners for her wedding day, I couldn't have been happier. Someone who appreciates small business is a amazing in my book.

The wedding day was a warm and very cloudy day. There was plenty of thunder and shortly before the couple were to tie the knot, there was plenty of rain. Then, the rain stopped and the clouds opened up enough to let the sun shine through. It was perfect timing. The couple wed in a beautiful outdoor wedding in Hesston Kansas at the Emma Creek Barn.

Allison's gorgeous dress is from Reni's Bridal Boutique in Wichita, Kansas.

Their cake was from Cameo Cakes in Wichita, Kansas.

Thank you for allowing me to be your wedding photographer. I hope you have all the happiness in the world.
